The
New Baltimore Classic & Classy Car & Motorcycle Show
The show will be held at the New
Baltimore District #1 (Wyche) Park located just north of Exit 21B of
the NYS Thruway in the hamlet of New Baltimore, Green County. Proceeds to benefit
the New Baltimore Reformed Church Stained Glass Restoration Project in the year
of the church’s 175th Anniversary.
Join us for a fun-filled family
afternoon! There will be food vendors, car associated vendors and displays and
fun things for the kids! Now, what we need from you are cars
and motorcycles!
As this is a fund raiser for the church project, we are
requesting a $20 donation for the first entry by the same owner and for this
you will receive a commemorative mug and a T-shirt, plus a chance at winning
prizes to be awarded that day. Each
subsequent entry for the same owner we are requesting $5/entry.
We are hoping that car clubs will be able to provide a
minimum of ten entries. Entrants
received by June 1, 2008 will be included in a booklet to be distributed to
visitors that day. We are also taking
donations for ad space in the booklet, if you or anyone you know might be
interested.
A few years ago, it was realized that some of the stained
glass windows in the church were deteriorating. As it turns out, at least two of the windows need to be removed and
totally refurbished at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars and it is hoped
that this event will assist the church cover some of these expenses.
We thank you for your
consideration and if you wish further information, please contact Don and Lisa
Van Alstyne at NBCarShow@yahoo.com or
518-694-3748. We appreciate anything you can do to help
make this event a success.
